Day 61 - New Eating Schedule, Will It Help?
My husband is working a slightly different work schedule, which affects our meal schedule, so we are gonna try a different routine. We used to eat breakfast seperately, he would eat something on his way to work or once he got to work, and I would make something and eat usually between 6am and 8am. Then he would be home for lunchtime, and we would eat usually around 11am or 11:30am. Then dinner was always together and usually around 5pm or 6pm.
Now, he will not be getting home from work until about 2pm, throwing off our lunch and dinner schedule. If we would eat lunch at 2:30 or 3pm, once he's home, that would put dinner so much later, and bed later, which is not fun for early early 4:30am mornings. So using an idea from my mother, here is our meal schedule we are gonna try:
-Breakfast: As normal, him at work, me at home whenever I get it.
-Lunch: Lunch will be more like our dinner. We will fix our big meal (such as today is bbq chicken on the grill, potatoes and a vegetable), around 2:30 or 3pm.
-Dinner: Dinner will then be more like a light lunch or even a snack. Some leftovers heated up, a bowl of cereal, a sandwich, just some vegetables, something small. Around our normal time, maybe slightly later, like 6pm. Then we will not be going to bed with a full stomach.
Hopefully this new routine will work out fine and also help us to lose some weight, by not eating a large meal and going to bed with a full stomach and not having a chance to work off many of the calories.
Today my weight is slightly back up, and it also was yesterday. I'm not gonna let it get me down, I'm gonna keep pushing.
Today's Weight: 223.6
Food Day 61:
-Breakfast: Blueberry Shredded Wheat Cereal
-Lunch: One bbq chicken breast, cheddar bacon mashed potatoes, and corn
-Dinner: Half can of fit & active chicken noodle soup, half of a small piece of cheesecake (made with splenda)
-Drinks: Water, two cups of warm coffee, one pop, one v8
